PASSPORTS & VISAS:
U.S. and Canadian citizens are not required to obtain a visa in advance for short stays in Budapest (Hungary), Bratislava (Slovakia), or Vienna (Austria). Beginning in 2026, travelers from both countries will be required to complete an online ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) authorization prior to entering any Schengen Area country.
All travelers must be in possession of a valid passport with at least six (6) months of validity beyond the return date, as well as a round-trip airline ticket. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that all required travel documents are valid and in compliance with entry requirements prior to departure.
